POINT BLANK: SHENIA’S BAPTISM

Three weeks agao little Shenia get baptisted in a little church in Gorodnja/Russia on a hill at the Volga river.

Ich mag Deine kleinen Serie aus Russland wirklich sehr. Diese hier ist auch wieder wunderbar anzuschauen. Das Taufbecken im 3. Bild wirkt wie ein Kochtopf 😀 so wie es dampft. Die kleine Kirche gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut, obwohl bei dem Licht das Fotografieren nicht so richtig Spass macht. War bestimmt großes ISO Gebolze 😉

  Vielen lieben Dank, kiki! Die haben vorher noch mal ordentlich heisses Wasser nachgekippt, damit die Kleine nicht friert wenn sie gedöppt wird. 🙂 Ist schon interessant, die stecken die Kinder immer komplett in das Becken. Nicht so wie bei uns, nur ein bisschen Wasser über die Rübe. Interessant ist auch, das in der orthodoxen Kirche keine Bänke sind. Die ganzen Messen werden im Stehen gehalten. Die kleine Kirche liegt zirka 100m neben Mamas Datscha an der Wolga. Wirklich wunderschön auf einem kleinen Hügel.
  Jau, das Gegenlicht! Hatte die Taufgesellschaft kurz gebeten auf die andere Seite zu gehen. Wollten aber nicht. ‘Auf der anderen Seite’ hat das Licht aber wunderschöne Effekte gezaubert… …nur da war ja keiner!

  ..you know, I’m catholic… …baptised… …but I believe in something which unified the idea of faith, hope and love. It doesn’t matter which religion you belong to… …there is a goal which we follow in our own individual path.. ..so I appreciate the idea to belong to a ‘club’ ;)… …and even there is no ‘club’ for someone.. ..the goal is the same. 🙂 Everybody like it’s good himself… …and the best is to share the ideas.. …like you do! 🙂 Have a nice day, Hedy!

  Dank dir, Conny. Ich wollte erst alles farbig machen, da die Kirche auch wunderschöne Farben zu bieten hatte. Fand dann da s/w doch aussagekräftiger. Was mich ein bisschen ärgert ist die Tatsache das die Scene ‘Shenia im Taufbecken’ leicht verwackelt ist. Der Mensch der das Video gedreht hat, hat mich genau in dem Moment einfach umgerempelt. Ey, lass dir das mal auf der Zunge zergehen: In der Kirche ganz dreist weggerempelt zu werden. Köstlich. Nu! 🙂

  This little church is just 100m from our datsha (this little cottage where my mom in law grew up.. …so beautifully situated at the Volga river banks). Okay, I’m playing for the other team, the roman catholics.. ..but who cares for which team you’re playing. 😀 😉 …it was such a great feeling that someone join the team. I’m not talking about one religion. I mean that one more is now brought out on the way to try to live something like ‘faith, hope and love’ in her way, which just started… …all the best for you, little Shenia, my dear. 🙂
