POINT BLANK: THE STREETS OF WOODEN HOUSES
Sometimes it pays to leave the familiar path during a walk through the city and discover all he little treasures along the way. So I found the streets of wooden houses in Tver/Russia. Cosy, lovable and still inhabited, that I felt the wish to life in one of these places, contrary to all accustomed comforts.
The historic Zatmachya Street and Bebel Street, one of the most valuable and intact ancient streets of Tver, in spite of adding significant new development preserves the historic appearance and the appearance of the old city streets. Even in the russian language appears the term ‘Tver lace’, with which the beautiful wooden ornaments are meant.
Thank you Peggy and your PERALO blog for the informations about these streets.
