POINT BLANK: THE LABI HOUZ

Bukhara (Uzbekistan / Central Asia), an oasis along the historic silk road.

The Labi Houz is the name of the area surrounding one of the few remaining hauz, or pond, in the city of Bukhara. The ponds acted as the city’s principal source of water.

Nowadays it’s a wonderful place where people meet each other, strolling around, chatting with each other and having a cup of tea. A delightful place to chill.

POINT BLANK: COHESION & AFFECTION

Tanja, Arina and Danil. Mother, daughter and son.

I was overwhelmed by the loving cohesion and affection that was felt between the three on our trip to St. Petersburg. Not intrusive or in vain, but always present.

“It’s true that nothing in this world makes us so necessary to others as the affection we have for them.”

(Johann Wolfgang von Goethe)
