POINT BLANK: MOSAIC

For more than 10 years the WOWMOSAIC school have been engaged in mosaics and train this craft for all students and participants.
The school is based on the basis of the largest creative association of TAVR which joins the methods of teaching mosaic at the Academy of Arts ‘Repin’ and the Industrial Art Academy
‘Baron Stieglitz’ with real experience of a mosaic workshop.
The students participate in exhibitions, make their own mosaic projects, work in the best mosaic workshops of St. Petersburg and Moscow, and some open their own mosaic studios.

Thank you Arina from WOWMOSAIC for you endless patience and the fun we had, for not getting mad about the mess we left and for letting me jump around with my camera in front of your nose the whole day. I hope you not shocked anymore, that I (as a boy) choose the ice-cone-shaped form instead of the plane-shaped one for the markus-mosiac. 🙂 🙂 🙂
POINT BLANK: MANUFACTURING
It’s good to know, that besides all this massproduction some real handmade manufacturing stills exists. In the middle of Berlin some young designers show that by continous inovation, visionary handling of material and a teamgeist you can defy the competition of mass products. I was impressed by that idea to connect development, production and distribution in one beautiful old house as a family of young people.
