POINT BLANK: “THE LIVING SOULS”-EXHIBITION

“THE LIVING SOULS”

…they love  …they suffer …they smile  …they fight

At the 04.01.2020 we opened my photo exhibition at the Sverkov Gallery in Tver/Russia.

Contrary to Gogols ‘Dead Souls’ I found so many living souls in Russia during my portraits shootings, that I decide to share this in form of an exhibition.

Devided in four categories the photos were spread over halls of these wonderful gallery.

  • GENESIS , from painting to photography: A photgrafically interpretation of works of the painter Alexeij Jogolev
  • CHILDHOOD, the living souls of the kids
  • THE LIFE, a variation of deep emotions
  • PLACES WITH SOUL

This day was stunning. I’m still deeply moved. So many nice people and chats. I never expected so many emotions shared together that day.

This opening was supported by pianist Jewgenij Sokolowski who interpreted the photography in his unique style live at the grand piano.

My lovely thanks to my wife Victoria, the magic Boutique Anthropologie (especially Anatol), Diana & Evgenij (you both are great), everybody from the Sverkov Gallery, John & Losha, Alexeij, the most beautiful models in the world (Valeria, Kate und Sasha), all the nice people for dancing through the portrait shootings and everybody who made this night unforgettable !

POINT BLANK: PHOTO EXHIBITION “HORIZONS”

On 23rd of September we celebrated the grand opening of my photo exhibition HORIZONS in Tver / Russia. Supported by Andrea (JETAMELE) we try to treat 12 different kinds of categories of horizons that we encounter in our daily life like e.g. geographic, social, cultural, technical, religious, professional or emotional horizons and more.

18 of the 36 images were printed on 6mm aryl glass with the sizes of 60×40, 80×60, 120×80 and 180×120. The 17 print on photo paper with a 8cm passe-partout and a simple back frame were produced with he sizes of 80×60 and 120×34. One print appeared on canvas (120×40) in b/w.

The whole project was a great pleasure full of experience, fun and exchange with other people. It was great to share all that together with Andrea.

Thank you ANTHROPOLOGY and all the other helping hands for the great job you did.

My beloved Victoria…   …that was priceless!!! Thank you for everything !!!

With the 36 photo prints I try to treat 12 different kinds of categories of horizons that we encounter in our daily life like e.g. geographic, social, cultural, technical or emotional horizons and more.

“Everyone who crosses a horizon makes the world a bit bigger for us … … more diverse, more hopeful, more open … … and the longing grows within us to cross horizons as well!”

But fortunately I’m not alone on the trip to discover horizons. Andrea (JETAMELE) will support me with her way of interpret horizons with prints of her great work.
