          it was last friday (22nd). There was a huge thunderstorm arround Moscow. Most of the flights were canceled. We were lucky, our was only delayed.

          No, big electric failure and collapse of electronic devices, no planes allowed to land or to take off for more than 24h, te next day it was still 75% efficient !

    love it! determined as described. next spring i’m going to fulfill my lifetime dream “trans siperian” – moscow to to beijing, but by train (i don’t mind any human interruptions *smile*).

        actually, my plan is to fly to beijing first (have a good friend living overthere) to see to its glorious, notorious past, opulent palaces, temples, parks and gardens and after that starting the great „walk“ on the wild side…transsiberian through mongolia till moscow. oh, i seriously have to begin to exercise a bit more with my camera…i’m just sort of a snapshooter as far as now. (at later date, may i ask you for some lead for moscow?).

          that is a great plan! Mostly people start in Moscow. But your plan sound better.
          Sure, with peasure. Let me know when you will be there, so I can arrange to be there as well. (btw, within a month I’m usually only a week in Tver/Russia, pretty close to Moscow).

      nonono, it was okay…. …we had vouchers for the bars.. 😀 😎 ..we were only delayed by 1 x pasta carbonara, 1 x apple pie, 3 x bergamot tea with lemon, 0,6l Pepsi light, 2 x 0.2l champagne, 1 x pizza quadro formagi, free wifi, 2 x Campari Orange and 2 x Gin Tonic (at the business lounge were we sneaked in without allowance because the ladies lost control about all that yelling people at the entrance)… …so we don’t complain. …and , hey, it’s Moscow, we are tough and used to it. 😎
