POINT BLANK: SHADOWS
The great advantage of the Barcelona airport is, that it got an really nice open air waiting area. While waiting for boarding, you can sit outside on a sunny day just like in a beer garden. Fresh air, sunshine, drinks, foot, music and very relaxed people… …completely different to the typically airport atmosphere. What makes me feel strange: You sit ‘inside’ the airport but ‘outside’ and you can look ‘inside’ again and get reminded of this anonymous atmosphere from a complete different word. Strange feeling!
POINT BLANK: …VOLCANOS
When I was seven I saw a report about an island which just popped up out of the sea by volcanic forces (Heimaey, Iceland). Since then I’m fascinated by volcanos.
When I was fourtythree I stood for the first time on top of an active volcano… …but don’t worry, there was no report on TV about that. Lucky me! 😀
POINT BLANK: EXPRESSION
WORKSHOP: ‘How to ruin a good shot by using the wrong brush’
Sometimes it makes sense to use brushes in Adobe LR to cover some not intended backround effects. But take care! The intensity and color you choose, could have some interfering effect on the image. It could be that on differend monitors you will have different results.
It took me a while to find some according samples. But in the end I found some. But please see for yourself how to ruin a good shot:

YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR FAMILY. BUT YOU CAN’T CHOOSE YOUR FOOTBALL TEAM!
…so I end up with the VfL Bochum. …and I’m proud of it! We are the only team which can say that after 167 year after we get founded, the best times are still ahead! We reached the german cup final in 1968 and 1988. But… We played twice in the Europe-League… …we reached the best sixteen in 1997… …we supported with 15.000 supporters our team in Liege/Belgium in 2004, but again ‘but’…
…BUT (and this ‘but’ is different!) WE are proud of our boys! We are proud of the boys who left team and play now in world cup winning team for Germany! We love every goal, every victory… …and we love to see us every second saturday, the same familiar ugly faces and the same wishes to get successful one day, because the faith in that is so precious.
